Redbubble – Artist Education & Community Writing

I spent a lot of time making things to help artists get their work out into the world. Sometimes that meant writing blog posts about design, marketing, or just finding inspiration. Other times it was creating ready-to-use promo templates so artists could share their shops without stressing about graphics.

The goal was always the same: make it easier for independent artists to promote themselves. Along the way, I ended up writing close to 200 posts and the templates were downloaded over 25,000 times. Not bad for a few PSD files and a blog with a big heart.

Blog Posts

The blog became a go-to resource for artists looking to sell their work online. Topics ranged from practical advice like adjusting images for the best visibility, to social media tips, to deep dives into technical details like resolution and file formats. It wasn’t about theory; it was about giving artists clear, actionable steps they could use right away.

Artist Promo Templates

The templates started with Redbubble’s own campaign photography. I pulled those shots into Photoshop, built out smart-object layers, and turned them into easy-to-use files where artists could drop in their designs. The result looked just like a printed shirt, sticker, or phone case — ready to share on social media. Over 25,000 downloads later, they became one of the simplest but most effective tools we gave the community.
